Diversity & Inclusion: Why They Must Co-Exist
Updated: 4 days ago
Diversity & Inclusion: The marriage of the two must exist and can only exist with clean assessment, assembly and accountability. As a practitioner for over a decade, I declare the case robust.
Assessment, Assembly and Authenticity are key to making it work in the workplace.

We live in interesting times. The Black Lives Matter and #MeToo movements, the global rise of immigration, and large-scale political changes shed light on previously overlooked – minority groups and draw our attention toward equal rights, racism, feminism and socio-economic disparities. Below I list key strategies for Assessment, Assembly and Authenticity in diversity and inclusion while we work:
Assessment: Does coexistence of people with different characteristics (e.g. race, age, gender, sexual orientation), skills and personality traits exist in your workplace?
Assembly: Employers must provide equal opportunities to all potential & existing employees.
Authenticity: Therefore, organizations with diverse employees are better aligned with the demographics of the area where they operate.
