A visit to the Louvre Museum in Paris, France, in 2017 provided me with an unforgettable experience that allowed me to encounter three remarkable cultural icons, each representing a unique facet of history and art. Mona Lisa, Princess Diana, and Napoleon Bonaparte, all pivotal figures in French history.

Since this visit I have been three more times and it has become an immersive journey into cultural competence. Each icon—Mona Lisa, Princess Diana, and Napoleon Bonaparte—offered a distinct perspective on the human experience, inviting me to reflect on the ways in which art and history shape our understanding of the world. Onward.

The coronation of Napoleon I took place on December 2, 1804, at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, marking his ascension from First Consul to Emperor of the French.
