For Nurses By Nurses Productions.- The Dixie 3: A Story On Civil Rights in Nursing, is our new film project honoring three African American nurses who staged a sit-in at Dixie Hospital in Hampton, Va., in 1963. The story centers around the landmark case that was instrumental in desegregating the entire hospital system.
The film was the highlight feature at the Hampton History Museum from Feb 21-27th and received rave reviews for its poignant story-line and enthralling cinematics.
